Hi Beam, My name is Melissa and I will be your host "mom" in America. The rest of your host family includes my husband, Juan (he is from Spain), our daughter Olivia and son Antonio. We are very excited about your visit.
I see that you like to use the computer and spend time with friends. What kinds of activities do you do with your friends? Do you play sports? Do you play an instrument? Olivia likes to read, write stories, draw/paint, listen to music and play the piano/ flute. She also plays soccer. Antonio like Star Wars Legos, playing videogames, watching movies and playing soccer.
I see that tomorrow you leave for America. How long is the flight? I'm sure it will be a very long "day". The longest flight our family has taken lasted 9 hours, on a trip to Spain. (we travel to Spain every other year) I hope you have a good trip and enjoy your first week in America. We will see you Saturday.
p.s.- is there any food that you do not like to eat or are allergic to?
